A poetic documentary which shows why skiing is such a great sport and encourages people to go and ski. The documentary will start with shots from the coach to Italy with a voice over talking about what the travel is like and why i want to go skiing. It will then cut to the title, then shots of

The documentary will only last around 4 minutes. The documentary will only last this amount of time as it will just be shots of nature and mankind's effects on it. The short length of the documentary will also be representative of how time is running out to change global warming.

My documentary will be similar to Koyaanisqatsi which is a poetic documentary about mankind. It will be similar to Koyaanisqatsi as Koyaanisqatsi features no interviews or dialog and only features shots of nature and mankind. My documentary will be similar as Koyaanisqatsi is a good example of showing not telling and that is what my documentary will be about.

Target audience	Who would watch your documentary?
The target audience for my documentary will be 14-18 year olds. This is because if young people do not change and attempt to fix the damage which the human race has done to the earth then it is their future which will be in ruin. The short length will also appeal to a younger demographic as younger people have a shorter attention span and will not enjoy a hour long no dialog documentary.

The key moments will be the changes between europe and england and how the alpine regions differ from England.

The mode of the documentary will be poetic. It is going to be poetic as it will be filled with captivating shots which attract the viewer and make them interested to find out more about global warming.

Further Development

Plans for product	Explain how you could expand this project out into something bigger
To expand the documentary I would travel around the world and film throughout the year to document the change in the conditions of other ski resorts at different times of the year. I would also hire out helicopters to access locations which I would be unable to reach without one. I would also travel to more remote ski locations around the world and see how global warming is affecting ski spots.

Advertising	What would be the best way to advertise your product
To advertise the documentary I would promote it on facebook and send it to pages like LADbible as they have a viewer base of young teens who the documentary would be targeted for. I would also send it to ski pages to promote it as it covers a topic which affects skiers as global warming is damaging resorts and locations to ski at.

Filming People	Any persons filmed will have filled out a model release form which will grant me permission to film and upload footage including the person filmed.
Age rating	The documentary will follow the BBFC guidelines and will be rated U meaning anyone can see it.

Location

I will be filming at a ski resort in italy. As i am not setting up a proper filming rig with lots of camera crew i do not need rights to film there.
